Basketball Recap: King's Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but King's Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors 32-29. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

King's Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lily Welsh led the charge by going 6 of 9 en route to 15 points. Vivian Galvis was another key player, putting up eight points and six steals.

King's Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Christian will take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, they will host Salem at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
