Baseball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

Miller came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-0 to the United South Panthers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Miller saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Uriah Howard, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for United South, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Miller will head out to face off against Ray at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for United South, they will venture away from home to take on Los Fresnos at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. United South will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
