Volleyball Recap: Neodesha Extends Winning Streak to Four

Neodesha won the last time they faced Sedan and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Streaks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Devils. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Streaks, who have now won four matches in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Neodesha was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-4.

Dalia Johnson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Johnson wasn't the only good servers: Neodesha was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Neodesha's victory bumped their record up to 30-6. As for Sedan, they now have a losing record of 15-16-1.

Neodesha didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Eureka on the 16th. Sedan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
