While Buhach Colony didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 44-38 W over the Lathrop Spartans on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.

Carter Chapman produced another solid performance putting up 12 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. Elijah Garza was another key player, posting 11 points.

Buhach Colony's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Lathrop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
