Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Channelview Falcons

The MacArthur Generals will square off against the Channelview Falcons at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Tuesday, MacArthur didn't have quite enough to beat Porter and fell 39-37. The match marked the Generals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Channelview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Deer Park, falling 65-45. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1163rd, while the Deer are ranked 440th).

Channelview's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for MacArthur, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
