Football Recap: Hicksville Comes Up Short

Hicksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Edgerton Bulldogs, falling 35-12. The Aces were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Despite the loss, Hicksville still got an impressive performance from Collin Leavell, who rushed for 180 yards and one score while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Cross Zeedyk was another key player, rushing for 96 yards and one touchdown.

Hicksville's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Edgerton, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
