Softball Recap: Greeneview's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Greeneview finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell 6-1 to the Southeastern Local Trojans. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Greeneview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Simpson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

With the defeat, Greeneview broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. As for Southeastern Local, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

While Greeneview had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
