Volleyball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Union County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gallatin County Hawks. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Union County took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Gallatin County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Union County will challenge Crittenden County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gallatin County, they will head out on the road to face off against Galatia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
