Soccer Game Preview: Carroll vs. Gregory-Portland

Carroll will head out to face Gregory-Portland after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Carroll came up short against Flour Bluff, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gregory-Portland). They never let Corpus Christi Moody onto the board and left with a 12-0 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Gregory-Portland and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Carroll might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Gregory-Portland when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can Carroll avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
