Basketball Game Preview: Travis Rebels vs. Hyde Park Panthers

The Travis Rebels will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Hyde Park Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Travis saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lehman. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Hyde Park lost to Cedar Park on the road by a 60-45 margin on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hyde Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Travis, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Travis won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in November of 2023, slipping by Hyde Park 50-49. Will Travis repeat their success, or does Hyde Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
