Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Climax-Scotts). They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over the Bellevue Broncos on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Climax-Scotts got a massive performance out of Gavin Eyre, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was Eyre's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Dzwik, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Climax-Scotts always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .675. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellevue only posted an OBP of .231.

Climax-Scotts pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Bellevue, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Climax-Scotts will face off against Norrix at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellevue, they will challenge Colon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
