Mountain View came out on top against Northridge on Wednesday thanks in part to Sam Holt's efforts. Holt was unstoppable, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
