Basketball Game Preview: North Garland Raiders vs. Naaman Forest Rangers

North Garland hasn't had much luck against Naaman Forest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The North Garland Raiders will be home for the holidays to greet the Naaman Forest Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Naaman Forest took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on North Garland, who comes in off a win.

It was a classic North v. South duel when North Garland took on South Garland on Tuesday. North Garland came out on top against South Garland by a score of 68-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Naaman Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The contest between them and Wylie East didn't end well, with Naaman Forest falling 51-37. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1042nd, while the Raiders are ranked 312th).

Naaman Forest's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for North Garland, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.
