Basketball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falls City Beavers.

Falls City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kain Jurgajtis led the charge by putting up ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Jurgajtis has been hot, having also posted four or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Travis Black, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Falls City, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Bloomington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-34 loss against Stockdale on the 12th. As for Falls City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 69-59 defeat against Weimar on the 12th.
