Basketball Recap: Mt. Vernon Comes Up Short at Home Against Vincennes Lincoln

Mt. Vernon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Vincennes Lincoln Alices on Tuesday, falling 53-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Mt. Vernon will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Posey at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they will be taking part in a tournament against Salem at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
