Allen East had won two straight home games and Aniya Prowant did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vanlue Wildcats with plenty of help from Prowant, who had 20 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Allen East was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10.

Allen East's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Vanlue, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

Allen East will venture away from home to challenge Kenton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vanlue, they will face off against Van Buren at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
