Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Springstead walked away with it. They never let the Wesley Chapel Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

The result came thanks to Taryn Henrickson's shutout, as he gave up just seven hits.

At the plate, Springstead's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joey Rief, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Springstead's record is now 15-10. As for Wesley Chapel, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.

As of now, neither Springstead nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
