Holt had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Waverly Warriors on Thursday, sneaking past 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since April 22, 2024.

Holt's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Waverly, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holt will venture away from home to face off against Everett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.75 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Waverly, they will head out to square off against Dansville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aggies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
