After a string of seven wins, Savannah's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Maryville Spoofhounds, falling 7-1. Savannah were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the seven games prior), but Maryville's defense proved too tough.

Savannah's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Maryville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Savannah didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Bishop LeBlond on the 15th. Maryville has also already played their next game (against Lincoln College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
