While Denver Academy scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. Neither they nor the Heritage Christian Eagles could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. The win was some much needed relief for Denver Academy as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

They hit Heritage Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Harrison Dority (2), Grayson Gainey, and Rhys Goodwillie.

With that draw, Denver Academy's record moves to 1-6-2. Meanwhile, Heritage Christian's record is now 1-5-2.

Denver Academy has already played their next match, a 6-1 victory against Estes Park on the 27th. As for Heritage Christian, they will welcome SkyView Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
