Soccer Game Preview: Worthing vs. Washington

The Worthing Colts will head out on the road to square off against the Washington Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Worthing will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Worthing will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Colts blew past the Knights 9-1 on Saturday. Worthing might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Washington fell victim to Northside and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Washington haven't been shut out since back in January.

Worthing's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
