Basketball Recap: Prairie City-Monroe Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont last Thursday, Prairie City-Monroe came back down to earth. The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs took a 73-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand View Christian Thunder on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Prairie City-Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Grand View Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

As of now, neither Prairie City-Monroe nor Grand View Christian have any future games scheduled.
