Basketball Game Preview: Bradford Tornadoes vs. P.K. Yonge Blue Wave

Bradford is 0-10 against P.K. Yonge since November of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Bradford Tornadoes will head out to face off against the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave at 7:30 p.m. Bradford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully P.K. Yonge likes a good challenge.

Bradford is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 70-58 win over Belleview on Monday. While the Tornadoes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, P.K. Yonge was beaten by Williston 66-33 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Blue Wave can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 86th).

Bradford's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1. As for P.K. Yonge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Bradford suffered a grim 66-43 defeat to P.K. Yonge in their previous meeting back in February. Can Bradford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
