Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hanover Park). They never let the Whippany Park Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Hanover Park's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Whippany Park are ranked 53rd).

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Whippany Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hanover Park will take on Hackettstown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hackettstown will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Hanover Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Whippany Park, they are taking a road trip to challenge New Providence at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
