Basketball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Avalon Eagles, falling 63-20. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Morgan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-20 back in December of 2024.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Avalon, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Covington the next time they take the court. Morgan will head out to face Covington at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Avalon will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
