Basketball Game Preview: Kinsley Coyotes vs. LaCrosse Leopards

The Kinsley Coyotes will head out on the road to square off against the LaCrosse Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Kinsley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Kinsley took a blow against Ellinwood, falling 59-24. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Eagles are ranked 85th).

Meanwhile, LaCrosse came up short against Central Plains on Friday and fell 52-42.

Kinsley's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for LaCrosse, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Kinsley skirted past LaCrosse 33-30 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kinsley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
