Softball Recap: Fairhope Pirates vs. Orange Beach Makos

After flying high against Baker last Monday, Fairhope came back down to earth. The Fairhope Pirates lost 9-2 to the Orange Beach Makos on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fairhope of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Emma Stewart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a double.

On Orange Beach's side, Kaitlynn Robertson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
