Basketball Game Preview: Farmington Phoenix vs. Syracuse Titans

Farmington is 0-7 against Syracuse since January of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Farmington Phoenix will square off against the Syracuse Titans at 5:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Farmington came up short against Davis and fell 47-40.

Meanwhile, Syracuse faced Fremont in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Syracuse fell 51-41 to Fremont.

Farmington now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Syracuse, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 18-3.

Farmington might still be hurting after the 60-39 defeat they got from Syracuse in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Syracuse's Rachel McBride, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 17 points and eight boards.
