Baseball Recap: Goleman Takes a Loss

Goleman managed to slip by Hialeah Educational Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Goleman Gators lost 12-0 to the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie on Thursday. The Gators just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Goleman got a good showing from Derek Centenl, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Goleman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goleman will host Coral Reef at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Miami Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Miami Springs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Hialeah Educational Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
