Volleyball Recap: Coral Springs' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Coral Springs waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Boyd Anderson Cobras with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coral Springs not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Boyd Anderson between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.

Coral Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Thomas, who had 24 digs. Those 24 digs gave Thomas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mickinson Jean-Mary, who had six digs and one block.

Coral Springs' win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Boyd Anderson, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Coral Springs will face off against Nova at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boyd Anderson, they will take on Deerfield Beach at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
