Recap: Fairwinds Christian Knights vs. Holly Grove Christian
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Avon Grove Charter, the Fairwinds Christian Knights were happy to have found some success on Friday. They strolled past Holly Grove Christian with points to spare, taking the game 55-36.
Fairwinds Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaiden Rajis led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Isaac Gardner was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
The win got Fairwinds Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Holly Grove Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairwinds Christian will challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy and Fairwinds Christian are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Holly Grove Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenwood Mennonite at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Greenwood Mennonite focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
