Baseball Recap: Pottsboro Has No Trouble Against Leonard

It was a proper cat-fight when Pottsboro faced off against Leonard on Tuesday. The Pottsboro Cardinals blew past the Leonard Tigers 12-1. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Pottsboro got a massive performance out of Cayden Humphreys, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Braedan Trissell, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Pottsboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

The win got Pottsboro back to even at 2-2. As for Leonard, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.
