Volleyball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Comes Up Short

If ALA - Gilbert North was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. Mary's on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Centennial Coyotes by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost four in a row.

Kristyn Grantham paced ALA - Gilbert North's offense, picking up 16 kills. Grantham got some help from Kylie Christiansen and her 27 assists.

ALA - Gilbert North now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Centennial, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.
