Basketball Game Preview: Redan Raiders vs. South Atlanta Hornets

The Redan Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the South Atlanta Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. South Atlanta took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Redan, who comes in off a win.

Redan will head into Friday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 32-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Drew Charter, sneaking past 60-57. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their 26-point performance the game before.

Meanwhile, South Atlanta entered their matchup against Columbia on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. South Atlanta was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Columbia.

South Atlanta's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7. As for Redan, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Redan took a serious blow against South Atlanta in their previous meeting on Tuesday, falling 58-26. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Redan was down 34-8.
