Basketball Game Preview: Northwood Falcons vs. Southwood Cowboys

Northwood is 0-6 against Southwood since December of 2014 but things could change on Friday. It'll be Northside v. Southside when the Northwood Falcons and the Southwood Cowboys meet at 7:30 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-41, which was the final score in Northwood's tilt against Bossier on Tuesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwood). They breezed by North DeSoto to the tune of 64-37 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cowboys have posted since December 27, 2024.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Southwood, their win bumped their record up to 12-16.
