Soccer Game Preview: Stafford vs. Brazosport

Stafford is 1-8-1 against Brazosport since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Stafford Spartans will welcome the Brazosport Exporters at 5:30 p.m.

Stafford came up short against Columbia on Saturday, falling 6-1. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Meanwhile, Brazosport hadn't done well against Needville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Brazosport came out on top against Needville by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Exporters.

Arianna Arredondo and Aile Galvan scored all three of Brazosport's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Stafford and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Brazosport, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
