Softball Recap: Cleveland Central Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Cleveland Central entered their tilt with Strayhorn on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Strayhorn Mustangs get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cleveland Central got a massive performance out of Makenah Jefferson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Stella Rose Cartwright, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one triple.

Cleveland Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.
