Volleyball Recap: Alcott Takes a Loss

Alcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the North Grand Eagle Owls.

While Alcott was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Alcott now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for North Grand, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Alcott will take on Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Grand, they will square off against Hancock at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagle Owls surely won't give up without a fight.
