Stoutland hadn't done well against Newburg recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Stoutland Tigers came out on top against the Newburg Wolves by a score of 72-64. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Stoutland's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Newburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
