Softball Recap: Stockton Find Success

Stockton is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Liberal on Tuesday, but Liberal came as close as anyone has to beating them. Stockton came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against Liberal. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Stockton got a massive performance out of Raelyn Henderson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Megan Lee, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Stockton pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Liberal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockton will challenge Archie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberal, they will face off against Osceola at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
