Morton extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping their season record down to 6-26 in the process. They lost 9-1 to the Dunlap Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

For Dunlap's part, Kaitlyn Atkinson made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk).
