Houston Academy posted their closest win since September 3, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Pelham Panthers 2-1. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

The win got Houston Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Pelham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
