St. Paul came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Flyers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Paul took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-15.

Kegney Stoll paced St. Paul's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stoll got some help from Annie Friend and her 30 assists. Lily Cuturic controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

St. Paul didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Danbury on the 20th. St. Mary Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
