Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lena-Winslow Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Lena-Winslow, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lena-Winslow, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Byron on the 25th.
