Baseball Recap: Nuview Bridge Finds Playoff Glory Versus Mountain View

Nuview Bridge extended their postseason success on Friday against Mountain View. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Vikings. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one run.

Nuview Bridge's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joshy Rodriguez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

The win (which was Nuview Bridge's sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, they moved to 15-12 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Nuview Bridge beat the Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.
