Volleyball Recap: Hudson Raiders vs. McDonell Central Macks
McDonell Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Hudson proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a set and slipped past the McDonell Central Macks 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Hudson got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-6, 27-29, 15-11.
Chloe Lockheart was the offensive standout of the game as she had 12 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
Hudson's record is now 30-1. As for McDonell Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-9.
Hudson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against St. Croix Central on the 12th. McDonell Central has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Rice Lake on the 12th.
