Basketball Game Preview: Cloudcroft Bears vs. Capitan Tigers

Cloudcroft is 1-9 against Capitan since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bears will look to defend their home court against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m.

Cloudcroft lost 58-33 to Lordsburg on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Capitan had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Mesilla Valley Christian School 56-39 on Saturday. That 17-point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Capitan's victory bumped their record up to 4-21. As for Cloudcroft, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Cloudcroft beat Capitan 40-29 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
