Floyd Central came out on top against Shelby Valley on Saturday thanks in part to Chris Spriggs's efforts. Spriggs did his part (and then some), going 7-for-8 en route to 18 points and six assists for the 'W'. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (88%).

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Floyd Central Jaguars challenge Betsy Layne Bobcats at 8:45 p.m. on March 8th.
