Softball Recap: Grand Saline Sets Scoring Season-High Against Winona

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand Saline). They never let the Winona Wildcats get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Indians have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grand Saline's victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Winona, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Grand Saline and Winona will both be playing Edgewood the next time they take the field. Grand Saline will head out to face Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Winona will host them at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th.
