Muscle Shoals won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 49-6. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Eagles are ranked 328th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kade Clemmons threw for 55 yards and one TD. Jemarion Draper was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards.

The victory was the third in a row for Muscle Shoals, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average this season. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
